Cost of Living

  • The average student has found that $75 to $95 per month should be allowed for personal necessities and a Bus Pass.
  • Note that prices can vary substantially from store to store.
  • It is quite common for merchants to have "Sales" where, for a short time, (usually 1 or 2 days) specific goods will be discounted from 5 to 50 percent or more.
  • In general the daily cost of living for the Comox Valley is approximately the same as Vancouver and lower than Victoria.
